Decimal hours: the dot matters
Decimal hours use fractions of an hour. Clock notation uses minutes out of sixty.
Convert minutes by dividing by 60
45 minutes ÷ 60 = 0.75 hours. Add the whole hours: 7 h 45 min is 7.75 hours.
Read decimals as decimals
7.30 hours means 7 hours plus 0.30 × 60 minutes: 7 h 18 min. It does not mean 7:30.
Keep precision until the end
TrueHour parses decimal input with base-10 arithmetic, rounds to the nearest supported second, then formats the result. A six-place display is an approximation when the fraction repeats.
