Why a weekly meeting changes local time

Two places may change their clocks on different dates—or not change them at all.

Preserve one anchor

A weekly 09:00 New York meeting keeps its New York weekday and local time. Each occurrence is resolved again, rather than adding seven UTC days.

Check each participant

London sees that meeting at 14:00 on March 4, 2024, 13:00 on March 11, and 14:00 on April 1. A twelve-week preview makes these shifts visible.

Resolve gaps and repeated hours

A spring-forward time may not exist. A fall-back time may occur twice. TrueHour asks for the earlier or later occurrence; gap shifts require explicit confirmation. Future rules can change with government decisions and browser updates.
